Inspired by the delicate beauty and curved lines of the Ulysses butterfly, this chair is hand shaped from beautiful Walnut. The stunning elegance of the butterfly form, together with the rich dark hues of walnut makes this an elegant and exquisite accent piece for the home or business. Whether as chaise for the boudoir or a statement piece in the office or living room, the Ulysses Chaise Lounge is the epitome of sophistication.

Winner of the Queensland Furniture Awards, this designer chaise is designed and custom made to order by Will Marx and can be fully customised to any dimension, colour and finish. The chair can also be made in another timber of your preference.

The upholstery on this chair is a commercial grade cotton blend from Mokum. It features delicate tree-motif embossed onto the fabric that carries with it a light shimmer not unlike that iridescent glow of the Ulysses butterfly’s wings. The upholstery can be altered to leather (real or imitation), ultra suede, or wool or new fabrics like Sunbrella that are stain-resistant, soil-resistant, water-repellent or waterproof. Alternatively, a fabric of your choice can be sent to us to be used as the upholstery.

As each chaise lounge is made to order, the dimensions and materials are fully customisable to suit your home, office or business to reflect your personal style and interior. This includes adding drawers, shelves, legs etc. Each piece is personally custom made by Will Marx using the finest recycled solid timber to create a piece that will become a cherished heirloom and investment piece for years to come.

Every bespoke piece of work is accompanied by an Artist’s Bill of Sale and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Will Marx certifying that it is an authentic creation designed and handcrafted by the artist himself.

The current production lead time is 12 to 18 weeks. If you require more than 1 chaise lounge or before a certain date, please contact us prior to ordering to discuss.

The shipping costs provided is for a standard delivery service which means that delivery will take place between Monday and Friday, 9am and 5pm. Transit times will vary according to location. Each chaise lounge is delivered fully assembled and there is no assembly required. If you have a special requirement on shipping, i.e. weekend delivery, priority delivery etc., please contact us and we will be happy to accommodate.

Worldwide shipping available. Please note that for international shipping, airfreight and sea freight options are available. International shipping cost is for a sea freight option and tariffs / duties are not included.

Every chaise lounge comes with a 10 year warranty on construction.
